Nollywood actress Camilla Mberekpe explains how she was delivered by T.B Joshua

A friend of Nollywood actress Camilla Mberekpe has come forward to defend her friend. She said that on Sunday April 28th, the actress appeared on T.B Joshua’s televised deliverance programme on Emmanuel TV but, contrary to earlier reports saying she confessed to being a witch, her associate says she was never one nor did she make any confession of the sort. She went for deliverance because she felt that an evil force was making life difficult for her. Her associate explains:
“Camilla never confessed to being a witch. There was an evil spirit that possessed her and it was the evil spirit that spoke through her. That does not make her a witch. You all should go spiritual and see all the things that go on around you. She took herself to church. Witches don’t take themselves to church for deliverance. Witches don’t operate that way. The evil spirit said, not Camilla said, so please let’s understand this before we start calling her a witch.

Camilla returned to the church a week after to announce that she has been delivered ‘from every bondage of Satan in her life’ and her visit to the church had totally transformed her life.

Bishop Nwabueze Arrested For molesting And Impregnating 15-Year Old Girl

Chairman of All Bishops in Rivers State, Bishop Chibuike Nwabueze, was arrested and paraded yesterday [Jul. 2] by the state Police Command for molesting and impregnating a 15-year old girl. Also paraded was a fake doctor, Kazeem Abimbola, who was held for allegedly conducting an abortion on the victim, on the directives of the bishop. The Bishop, who confessed to the crime before newsmen, said he was hypnotised, adding that he was set up. He denied molesting the underage girl, but admitted that she removed her clothes after he finished praying for her in the office and before he could shout ‘the blood of Jesus’, he was already all over the girl. A recent report by Forbes magazine listing the richest pastors in Brazil has sparked criticism of evangelical leaders in the country. One of the pastors mentioned in the list, Silas Malafaia, has promised to file a lawsuit against the magazine for its "shamless" report.
