President Jonathan Sends Congratulatory To Nigeria’s History Making Golden Eaglets
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets made history today by becoming the first
country to win the FIFA Under-17 World Cup for the fourth time when
they beat Mexico, 3 – 0 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The first goal was an own goal scored by Mexico’s Eric Aguirre who scored against his won team in the 9th minute time, Kelechi Iheanacho scored the second goal in the second half & Musa Mohammed (Captain of the team) finished the game off with a free kick that went straight into the net!
A few moments ago Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan sent the history making team a congratulatory via his Facebook account.
